furo update: all behind-the-scenes work today: implementing a gameplay context service that supports nested contexts (eg. suspending the exploration-related systems when we open up the menu, destroying the menu when we close it) as well as async transitions (eg. pixelate the screen all jrpg-like when we transition to a battle, fade in and out when moving between maps)

hopefully tomorrow i'll be able to finish turn-based movement & start on getting the mapping workflow set up
