uggghh UI stuff is way too boring to be this difficult. I hate making UIs so much

but! #GAGSProject now automatically saves your gender preferences after every search, so you don’t have to enter them every time. I just need to do a few more things before I can consider hosting it somewhere for everyone to use. those things are:

• let the user set a blacklist
• automatically save the blacklist after every search
• I have to make a popup about following the reddit ToS :/
• get a reddit API key for the website

after that I’m pretty sure I can just start figuring out how to host it

the more I work with HTML, CSS, and JS the more footguns I find

today I learned that - although you have to escape all raw < and > characters in HTML with < and > respectively under all(?) other circumstances - you should never do that if those characters are inside of a <script> tag

things ive learned from games that also have applied to my real life

• sometimes starting over is a good idea but normally its not
• waiting for the perfect opportunity rarely pays off. picking a good enough time is often your best choice
• i prefer going through as a girl
• dont save one-time things for when you really need them. by the time you get to that point, its too late
• grinding for money fucking sucks

I think everyone is familiar with the Dark Brotherhood, but the Morag Tong may be a bit less known, especially to those who haven't played Morrowind. Though this isn't a whole book dedicated to that, it is one of a few readings I've done that touch on the topic, and hopefully, over time, people can get a more complete picture of this oft-looked-over group of assassins that has left its mark on Tamrielic history

It does *not* remove all VFX, but anything full screen & flashy, strobing, or cumulative problematic effects, is definitely gone. I'm gonna work backwards into other expacs as well
