@0x57e11a I hate luarocks so much T_T I totally agree with it that Lua is amazing - I love how elegantly it’s able to encapsulate all kinds of useful functionality in just a few concepts, like tables and metamethods. and I find it so beautiful that the require() function just runs an entire file like it’s a function, and returns whatever it returns. and the distinction between table.function() and table:function() is so elegant to me - I love it

but yeah I’ve had such a difficult time getting luarocks to work basically at all, and there’s so little help available on using it. plus even getting Lua to run on Windows can be kind of a nightmare - especially since it asks you to manually set environment variables that aren’t properly/fully explained anywhere that I could find

one of these days I might go digging to find some lewd games that I’ll like, but unfortunately even seeing screenshots of Very Exaggerated Bodies gives me a little bit of psychic damage which is why I haven’t done that too much yet

@kit I’m ngl if I had more control over what I ate I would probably be vegan already. genuinely, meat is super gross to me and pretty much anything that’s considered a meat substitute (beyond beef, tofu, seitan, etc.) is way better - especially in terms of texture

I find it funny seeing comments about “girl, you didn’t have to put all that in the title!” referring to me pointing out being a lgbtq+ dragon girl for my streams. Like…

A) folks always say to set yourself apart from others, be yourself, stand out, all that jazz and…
B) it feels like sneaky admission that all they want is for me to be quiet, stop being so visible, which is sad.

If anything I feel kinda emboldened to add more to the titles because of it

@dragonarchitect I feel this so much. I’ve been watching my family’s dogs while they were away for two weeks and this has been a nightmare for many reasons, but one of them is that one of the dogs has separation anxiety which gets worse the longer they’re gone, and causes him to bark for hours and hours and hours and there is literally nothing I can do to get him to stop. and I know because I’ve tried everything

thankfully they just got home late yesterday, and I’m never going to do this for them again

apparently wolves don’t bark - they quietly make little “chuff” noises instead - puffing air out of their mouths. because they don’t want to draw hostile attention to themselves, but they do want to alert their pack that there’s a dangerous animal nearby. but dogs were deliberately bred to bark loudly instead, so that they could be used as guard dogs. and now we have incessant barking everywhere and it is miserable
