I’m not even sure if AAA interactive movie shooters could be considered oversaturated, though I am extremely not the target audience for interactive movie games

#HideousDestructor should have been a genre-defining mod and I can’t believe people are still saying in 2025 “shooters are so oversaturated” and “there’s no room to innovate with shooters” while completely ignoring this masterwork of a game

there might be no room to innovate with multiplayer PvP SBMM hypersweaty competitive shooters, and those are extremely oversaturated, but don’t conflate that with all shooters ever (indie pixel art boomer shooters are oversaturated too but also I wish more of them would take after Doom 1 and 2 more in their design instead of trying to be as “fast-paced” as possible :/)

For those who aren't familiar with the lore, this book essentially details the events at the end of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall from the perspective of various Blades agents who were in the area and experienced it. While magic exists in the world of The Elder Scrolls, events like The Warp In The West take incomprehensible amounts of it and are a truly rare sort of phenomenon

These accounts of the event were only accessible to very few, and only because of the existence of The Blades, a security and information organisation that answers to the emperor. Meanwhile, most people were either not privy to the details of the event or simply call it an act of the divines.

@ninafelwitch omg that extremely makes sense. I guess I see my characters as abstract representations of fantasies that I want to have rather than actual characters that I roleplay as if that makes sense, so I don’t really get attached to them like that thankfully

I actually never even considered making a new account! if I made a new account every time I would probably have about 7 by now though lol, or maybe more. and I know myself and know that I would never go back to those old accounts so I might as well have deleted all of the characters in them anyway

and, I’m playing on Tauri! I haven’t tried too many other private servers but I love Tauri - it’s very very similar to Blizzard’s version of WoW but has higher XP rates (but not absurdly high or anything), and it also even has Legion! (among a few other expansions that you can play)

I love the fedi, but I'm sorry- y'all got it just as bad as bluesky when it comes to dealing with ACTUAL people...and specifically BLACK PEOPLE.

I said this when I first came here, and ima say it again. You're not gonna have any good laughs, actionable change, and community building without making your space welcoming to black and marginalised folk.

Ima eco this~ get your heads out your asses and actually build a fun and safe fedi plzzzzzz.

If everyone was refusing to provide official IDs to verify their identity and age on social platforms, and just let their account rot there unused instead, we would soon see platforms themselves starting to advocate against these invasive laws to recover their users.
