This is your reminder that if a food pantry would help you, you should definitely go to one.

Food pantries, like libraries, keep numbers of how many people they help. Numbers help them get funding. You are not taking from anyone; you are helping the food pantry exist.

You don't tell me that I simply cannot read a simple text file when ....

* I literally have the supplied programs and files from the archives

* Have access to the script that is for programing two Duometric LVX devices

* Mapped out in personal documentation how a picking system receives input from the Duometric LVX devices

* Am able to correctly flag half the Duometric LI264 light barriers by checking said documented input

But sure, tell me that the issue is still something in software and not in hardware and make me reprogram the LVX's, and also swap inputs of both LVX's just to see the same light barrier issues.

I'm clearly some bumbling incompetent fool.

reasons services run by weird transgenders on the internet are better than corporate services:

  • the server admin typically has a cool sword or hat or something
  • not a corporate service and thus not evil
  • better uptime lmao

The Dreamseekerโ€™s Vision ofย Tomorrow

Since I have your attention for the moment, I'd like you to ask yourself a question: What is it that drives you in life? Do you yearn for the feeling of safety? By seeking power, status, wealth, and fame? Is it cravings for pleasure that motivate your actions? Does a sense of obligation to others, or even your past self, that informs your decisions?

I have another video today! It's about old-school video projectors and how amazing they were.

Seriously, not only is it almost unbelievable that this even works, but it's doing full HD video with incredibly good image quality. It's also a royal PITA.

I suppose it can't hurt to try this, right?

I'm a Systems Administrator by trade, and I'm looking for work! I have 20+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, and I worked my way up from the Help Desk.

My last role (9.5 years) was working in the NOC of a private insurance provider, where I supported global IT operations.

Some of my highlighted skills:

-Active Directory
-PowerShell Scripting
-SCCM and SCOM
-VMWare and Hyper-V
-Microsoft Server 2016/2022
-Microsoft Exchange
-Azure Administration
-Azure Migrations
-SaaS
-Rubrik Backups
-Application Packaging
-Change Management
-Agile
-Disaster Recovery

I'm open to remote work, and I'm also looking to relocate to the greater Chicagoland area, preferably around Schaumburg.
