It was neat that the Mir space station got some love in July of 1998 with the release of Michael Bay's Armageddon. The start of the International Space station wouldn't even start till November 1998.

Makes me sad that even the International Space station is slated for end of life soon and future space stations will be a profit driven adventure from private tech/private military oligarchs.

I wonder how accurate the movie portrayed the Mir space station and how much of it was adjusted to make it palatable to the movie audience.

@kirakira clearly it's an old 1980s vintage tech piece in collaboration with Domino's Pizza called the Noid Pizza Unit.

I'm surprised they make those today. I wouldn't even imagine anything uses it. Most likely it's for running vintage software
