✅ Chill AF PFP floofCool

✅ Social Media ain't fedi, but it's recently updated and talks about progressive things floofHappy

❔ Profile has them in Military Camo with a realistic airsoft prop floofWhat

I know I know, kill the cop inside your head (that includes the fashion police) but I would imagine socialist gun owners would have some notable visual distinction between themselves and state approved fash?

If I didn't also see their socials, I would've chalked them up to be a fellow ICE worker or government goon. But like, how are you to tell who's good from who's bad if they also wear the aesthetics of fashism? You figure they go black-bloc?

@ilobmirt This is the problem with apps like that :/
It doesn’t help that I have met a nonzero amount of people who like the aesthetic despite their political beliefs because of video games.

@ilobmirt ive seen some people on barq who have this aesthetic but otherwise seem fine but i still prefer not to engage

im a generally cautious person and a lot of people are fortunately no worse than "i just would prefer not to talk to you"

@ilobmirt yeah i’ve noticed that gun culture, even among lefty and progressive types, has an issue of adopting fascist aesthetics. it’s really gross

@kotinotter video games have also been pretty propaganda pieces for the US Military. But I doubt it's a secret anymore.

I would worry about the folks that go "Damn, I look like a cop" and not change anything about themselves

@Okesska fortunately, no shortage of soft queer people out there. But yeah, I also give these folks space if they ever fave my account.
