696I try to be very careful about CWing things. sometimes I make mistakes but I want to make my posts as safe to read as possible
I sometimes post NSFW/kinky/lewd things behind CWs. this should go without saying but if you're a minor please do not interact with anything lewd/NSFW that I post
I have very limited energy and am very shy so it might take me a long time to reply to messages sometimes, or I might not be able to reply at all. this is kind of an "output only" account for the most part, but I'm hopeful that I can change that over time
I sometimes use curly braces to {clearly show where a grammatical phrase begins and ends}, like that. you can think of them like parenthesis in code or math, except they operate on grammar instead

looks like Windows 11 just updated and installed Copilot on my PC (including the incredibly invasive screenshotting “feature”). but thankfully O&O ShutUp 10 had already pre-disabled Copilot and it’s still disabled now, so all is well
I’m ngl I would never recommend that anyone use Windows 11 unless they’re also going to run O&O ShutUp 10 alongside it

okay I’ve decided. the next thing y’all are going to vote on is this character’s overall vibe and presentation. we’ve already done personality - how they are internally - but this is how they look and act from the outside. these would be the first things you might think about them when meeting them for the first time - influenced by factors like what they wear and how they act
because what I want to do is get enough info that I can write a proper description of them. I want to combine everything into one whole picture instead of repeating the traits that y’all have picked. and I realized that in order to do that I definitely need to know what vibe to go for
anyway, once I’m done with that, then we can ask the lewd questions (which is what I’m really looking forward to~)
anyway as before, the 3 top-voted choices win, though in this case I might look at some of the other top choices too, to get an even better idea of what kind of person this is

oh, wait! maybe I’ll do a poll for how they dress. like punk vs. gothic lolita vs. brightly-colored and casual, etc. and maybe body type too? I’m not sure - what do y’all think? I’m generally not too interested in a character’s appearance but this could be interesting too

hm so this concubus is assertive, confident, and possessive. but they’re also soft and comforting. their 3 biggest interests and 3 best non-lewd skills are programming, hardware tinkering, and Linux administration (including self-hosting). I love where this character is going, and they remind me of a few folks that I could name, too 💙
do y’all have any suggestions for non-lewd polls that I could do, or should we get into the lewd things next?

The most bizarre ruling though, has got to be that they disallow fantasy animals, but specifically make an exception for unicorns, which they call "basically fancy rhinos, if you think about it". I have so many questions.

I really don’t understand why its supposed to be such a big deal that a pair of characters are secretly blood relatives, or a different kind of relative than what was assumed, but I’ve read enough gothic fiction to know lots of people apparently find that compelling.
I always found this confusing too. the classic “I am your father” reveal in Star Wars had me going “how does this change anything? Vader is still exactly the same character?” but I think that if I grew up with a loving family that supported me then maybe the trope would make more sense

okay I really want to take this series in a lewd direction, but I’m going to be good and get all of the {SFW but possibly kinky} options out of the way first so that everyone can participate. but after I’ve gotten the SFW options done then I’m definitely going to start doing lewd options too - like exactly what kind of abilities this lust demon has~
anyway, so far we have a succubus/incubus/concubus who is confident and assertive, possessive, but also soft and comforting. I could see a few different directions that those personality traits could be taken, and they’re all very good 💕
next we’re going to be deciding their 3 main interests. these are things that they’re passionate and knowledgeable about, and very skilled at too. just like before, the 3 top-voted options win. I’m not going to be adding kinky options this time, but that might be a later poll

@transoptimal omgg I noticed the Distortion of Closure before but didn’t think much of it. but your explanation has me really interested to try it sometime. I feel like it could actually be really useful as a way to have constant values that I can easily reference anywhere in my code
also it’s smart having a wand that provides the pointed block! my eval wand still gives the function itself as its first argument, even though I now handle that inside of my scrolls. but giving the pointed block would actually be so nice for really simple spells like “break this block” or “heat this block”

As much as Trump sucks, this is not about one man, and any analysis that rests on that premise is flawed. Our system was designed to prevent any one man from being able to do what Trump is. The problem is that Republicans have consolidated power in many States and courts over several decades, and now they are moving on to doing the same thing at the national level.
There are many issues and things in play, but it is important to realize this is the culmination of decades of work by multiple allied organizations and people with power, not the actions of a rogue President.
