i was told that my views on parenting would change when i got older and had kids of my own.

i dont have kids but they did change – i hate parents and nuclear families even more now and still think kids should have full control over their lives

i did raise my siblings for most of my teenage years and early 20s though and it was pivotal in my advocacy for youth liberation. maybe its because i loved them and didnt want to own them like property

@rowan As I've gotten older, I've realized that 18 and 19 year olds aren't exactly all that grown up and responsible, and yet letting them do what they want seems to mostly work out

@rowan everyone is like “why are kids so isolated and unhappy” maybe it’s because they aren’t allowed to go outside

@november i think thats a good perspective. most 30 and 40 year olds i know arent grown up or responsible either and i wouldnt take their freedom away
