ugh I almost considered using Godot to learn game dev but then I took one look at their reddit and they’re toxic even for reddit. they’re somehow obnoxiously Smarter Than You and incredibly defensive at the same time? so I’m never touching their stupid engine, just out of pure spite (and also I can’t imagine asking those people for help )

@kasdeya That makes me sad that such a promising game development tool has been spoiled by its community. I actually experienced that with an x86 on ARM compatibility project. Their discord was full of misogyny and even had a thread dedicated to trashing Greta Thunberg.

Godot needs to do better and be open to collaboration in a better way w/ a better attitude
