something missing from age verification debates ive seen is the fact that so many parents are finding it increasingly difficult to raise kids while working, and are offloading some of that responsibility onto internet apps that entertain their kids when they're not supervised.
I don't really think age verification does a good job of fixing that issue but it's for certain part of how they've so easily manufactured consent for it.
