yess I successfully installed Arch and booted into it with GRUB! it’s currently a completely useless terminal with nothing installed, so my next step is going to be setting up all the software that I want, including a DE

as I’m installing KDE, pacman is asking me to choose between a bunch of packages that I know nothing about so I’m choosing completely arbitrarily lol. hopefully that won’t come back to bite me

at one point I think it actually asked me which font I wanted to install? so hopefully I don’t end up with ugly fonts

KDE seems to be, uhh… having some problems

oh! I rebooted and now it seems fine? weird but alright

wait nvm it’s still borked; it’s just borked in a slightly different way. it took a while to get there but this right here is the true Linux experience

aaand now networking is borked too somehow, even though it was working perfectly before

alright that’s enough Linuxing for today lol; I don’t even know where to start on troubleshooting this stuff

@kasdeya HMU sometime when you're down to Linux again. That unfortunately is a Linux experience. That's just ...wild. I wonder what happened
