“unprofessional” is literally just code for:

• they weren’t white enough
• or, they weren’t cis enough
• or, they weren’t male enough
• or, they weren’t attractive enough
• or, they weren’t neurotypical enough
• or, they weren’t charismatic enough

“professionalism” is a smokescreen for white/cis/male/etc. supremacy

“hm I wonder why cis white men have disproportionately better careers than everyone else”

the cis white men who are in charge of all hiring decisions in the entire United States: no idea

we should enforce highlander rules where if you manage to kill a cis white man you can take his job

imagine how fast hiring unfairness would be addressed when the alternative is murder of the privileged classes
