I’m ngl I think FFXIV needs to make all of ARR skippable and if you choose to skip it then you’re just able to watch all of the cutscenes if you want story context on what happened

I'm pretty deeply philosophically against outright skipping parts of a game's story, but good gods, ARR+ goes on foreveeeerrrrrr (and you can't walk in and get Astro without going through it )

one of the very few things I'd go as far as to recommend others skip, too~
