what’s the proper way to format a song title?

@kasdeya (less snarkily, i'm usually more interested in what the song *is* than who it's *by*. i also don't usually like the majority of any given artist's music, so i have more attachment to a song than its creator anyway)

@kasdeya Depends. In my music library I prefer artist first because of hierarchy¹. But if I’m just mentioning a song in writing I prefer song first because that’s the important part I’m trying to communicate.

¹ All my music is in one folder, no subfolders

@kasdeya only song title, because the songs are already in a folder named after the artist.

@kasdeya convinced it's meant to be a folder structure of [artist] / [album] / [track no.] - [title]

(Though I'd have been satisfied to vote for [track number] - [title] )
