all the game-of-the-year titles this year are games that I can’t play :/ I hope next year they’ll all be like:

• a scifi milsim immersive sim with minimal story
• a modern OSRS clone
• a spiritual successor to Tunnet
• a new cleaning game like PowerWash Simulator or Viscera Cleanup Detail
• a new Creeper World game
• a really vibey WoW clone with flavorful abilities
• a Soulslike with slow and cautious combat like in Dark Souls 1
• a new Elder Scrolls game that’s actually good

@kasdeya it's a smol dev team with a big dream. be cautiously optimistic but keep your expectations reasonable because they might be punching above their weight

@rgo omg yes I’ve loved both Creeper World 4 and Creeper World IXE. it’s such a good series with really cool mechanics and it’s also the closest thing to RTSes that I’ve been able to enjoy

I actually had a lot of fun designing systems for containing creeper in IXE - like water valves to keep it contained for example. so I hope the next Creeper World game (if there is one) will give me even more complex mechanics that I can treat as emergent engineering puzzles lol
