I get a little weirded out by stuff like Zenless Zone Zero where everyone is dressed like a porn star and poses like one too, but the only thing they’re allowed to do with those bodies is sexily try to kill each other

I blame censorship and prudishness for this btw

there’s a Zenless Zone Zero promotional video that sexualizes both police brutality and torture and I’m still processing it 4+ months later

(it’s okay to sexualize these things (within reason) but what really bothers me is how people think nothing of that video. I’m not even sure if it’s age-gated?)

@kasdeya I was watching TGA today with friends, and we were talking about something similar, namely that the things that were overtly sexual were only shown packaged with horror and/or gore

basically, the religious hegemonies of our world over the last few centuries have given us a warped view of what is unacceptable
