who would win:

• a 4k raytraced AAA interactive blockbuster movie with hundreds of hours of gameplay, Hollywood-level cutscenes and voicework, and a budget of over $1 billion USD
• some MMO from 2004 that looks like this

@kasdeya Depends on how we define victory and success. But if it's by longevity or amount of players over the lifetime, Hell, even hours spent in-game, any game on Earth will be hard pressed to compete with (OS)RS. And I say this as a heretic who prefers RS3 to the Old School edition(s).

@fargate omgg that is heretical! but I’m ngl my young self did play a decent amount of RS3 as well, and I think she had a fair bit of fun too (though the squeal of fortune and the non-removable “subscribe” button were pretty annoying lol)

@kasdeya ...I didn't even remember the squeal existed, and being a paying member didn't see the other thing. But yea, I'd be hard pressed to deny them being bad.

RS3 is still nicer than the AFK combat system of OS on my one screen setup.
