@rowan If you eat a raw potato that's been exposed to light for really any significant time there's a high chance it's built up glycoalkaloids that will poison you, so that's fun (although commercial cultivars are bred to have the lowest glycoalkaloid content possible)
@rowan weirdly, I did once eat a raw potato for lunch. Mostly the uncooked starch made me feel unhappy. Very unhappy. It wasn't at all like snitching the slice or two before I cook them in butter and salt.

@rowan whole ass potato. I can’t remember if I skinned it - I prolly did. I was feeling really squeezed for time that morning and just said fuckit I like the taste of raw potato and grabbed one from the house kitchen and went in to campus. I would probably have been just as well off eating one of the rock samples in the geo labs I was in.
@rowan No idea what this is but reminds me of a childhood memory of munching on a bar of soap thinking it was a raw potato :p
