On vacation and made the mistake of looking at my work email. Fuck, there goes my peace of mind. Such a bad decision that affects me and my team, and is going to throw us off for a week+. I wasn't even off for 3 days!

@Shivaekul that sucks. I dunno if I've gotten more zen or my give a fsck factor (GAFF) is lower these days, but if that's the decision coming down from execs after you've made your case? Let the river flow around you and carry on.

@deliverator If it was that then it would be one thing, I've gotten better at letting go after the decision is made. But this was a decision that was made while I was off and unable to make my case.

@deliverator Like, legitimately if I had not taken time off, this decision would not have been made. This is my first time taking more than 2 days in a row off for like a year, and this is not helping.
