great news: I got a dentist appointment
caveat: it’s for tomorrow morning. at 7:00. if I somehow went to sleep right now, I’d still wake up too late

@kit love how neurotypicals run society under the assumption that we can all just casually wake up at 6am

@kasdeya apparently the reason they did me like this is because they considered my situation an emergency (which, yeah, I can’t blame them for that) but the first thing the receptionist said when I checked in was “looks like you’re struggling to stay awake, huh?” and now my next appointments are all going into afternoon slots without me even asking

made it to the appointment on so little sleep that I was fighting hard to keep last night’s dinner down

on the way there, I saw a cybertruck and almost threw up. yeah, it was probably just because of the nausea I already had, but I choose to believe that it was the cybertruck’s fault

honestly I’m still struggling with the nausea hours later, along with a Big Headache. this is way, way worse than the soreness from the dental work

update: I was warned that the mouth pain would last two or three days, but it’s only been a few hours and it’s gone

why can’t my body do this with all the other pain
