@desea P being a more distant precursor to T but along the same pathway as E-to-T makes me wonder what would happen too. Would it trigger down regulation of T like E monotherapy does? Or just be converted to all of its many downstream products, which might mean more T too? Or something totally different? 🤔
@desea yea, you’d probably get the short term psychoactive effects, especially if you take it orally
@desea @snacks @scathach it has a lot of metabolites. it doesn’t make me feel sleepy, just relaxed
combining it (oral) with stimulants is pretty amazing actually, super comfy and cuddly feel. more so than opioids
there’s also some study that showed allopregnanolone lowers opioid tolerance while itself stimulating endorphin release. works well as an antidepressant with PTSD, basically an alternative to ket in that respect
