my therapist and i just talk about video games, current politics, and random nonsense that doesn’t even matter. so basically i am using him to practice being normal with regular people 
@ghostlyash I did this a little bit with my new therapist in my first session last week and I genuinely think it was the most helpful part of the session? like literally just experiencing not being judged/hated/misunderstood by someone who I didn’t meet online was huge for me
@kasdeya i feel like it genuinely healing something within me. with every other therapist even though they were nice and helped me with trauma and social skills that i didn’t have before it’s like he is trying to put those skills into practice. or he’s just a chill guy letting the conversation go where it flows. which as someone who loves doing the same thing i can really appreciate that
