I love piracy because everyone - regardless of wealth - should have access to all the entertainment that they want

also, very related: abolish intellectual property. it does nothing but stifle artists’/engineers’/etc. creativity so that parasites in business suits can profit from it

Slight pet peeve of mine lol:
In the US, all of our IP law is authorized by this section of the Constitution:

"To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;"

This is not what our IP law does lol. Like you said, our IP laws do not promote the progress of science or art, and the rights are instead entrusted to corporations, for way too long. (And then use it to stiffle arts and science.)
