Fallout 4, video game violence

omg there’s a part at the beginning of Fallout 4 where you get power armor and a minigun and it’s meant to be this big moment that drives home just how powerful power armor is in this game. so for no reason at all they spawn in a deathclaw for you to kill (it literally just pops out of the sewer with no explanation) and I guess I’m supposed to easily kill it and be like “woah - with power armor I can Even Kill a Deathclaw™”

but instead the deathclaw is killing me over and over and I can’t get past this point in the game lol. I don’t even have any difficulty mods installed yet

which, honestly deathclaws are meant to be fucking terrifying so I’m kinda glad that it isn’t easy to kill? but also this linear scripted beginning section is requiring me to kill this deathclaw and I can’t

@kasdeya I looked it up for context, and there are a bunch of reddit posts asking how to kill it lol. Apparently the consensus is to kinda cheese it with a building (the shop on the left). Or the less cheesy is to go for headshots and explode vehicles next to it, but yeah seems like it isn't easy (although there is more than one reddit "Gamer" who of course claims it is... Mostly cause they cheesed it lol).

@kasdeya I definitely remember dying on my first attempt. I think I got it the second time? Pretty sure I was just running like hell and blasting it in the face with as many bullets as possible and even then it was very close.

@Shivaekul ooh, thank you! I’m glad I’m not the only one having trouble with that fight. and those are really good strategies to know about, as well
