me trial-and-erroring every permutation of generics and type annotations trying to find the one that will make the typescript transpiler okay with my code

I did eventually find a combination that works but I don’t know how it works and it’s probably a really inelegant solution and there might be edge cases that will shoot me in the foot later

@tempest aw, thank you for asking! unfortunately I ran out of energy for working on code for today, but I’ve been meaning to ask y’all some questions about my code and about TypeScript’s type system, once I’m able to figure out what I want to ask lol (for now there’s a lot of {being confused by what are probably unknown unknowns} when it comes to the type system)

but I’ve been thinking of sending y’all a link to my gitlab repo for my bitburner code, if you’d be interested in looking through it sometime
